It ended up being a beautiful evening for a Prayer Walk. Our church participated in the National Day of Prayer by sending out teams to pray throughout our community. This tire swing is in our church yard, which also happens to be my side yard. The swing made me thing about the freedom we have to gather together in such way that we can even leisurely swing on a tire swing. There is no fear that soldiers will come or the neighbors will report us. I was reminded of my blessed freedom and prayed for the persecuted church. Father forgive me for how much I take for granted. Lord have mercy.

My name is Peggy. I was going to name this blog, "Late to the Party". My sons have been telling me to start a blog for many years. I think they wanted proof of my insanity. Now that my home school career is officially done, I thought I might jump into the waters. Books, tea, dark chocolate, laughter, and great conversation keep me moving on this crazy ride called life. Apparently, I really like to mix metaphors as evidenced by this description. View all posts by inkblotlife
