Slowing down to watch the grass wave in the wind, and listening closely to all the sounds around me makes me thankful for ears to hear and eyes to see so much beauty. I am loving the layer of yellow that has appeared in the local fields recently. I am noticing as each layer of color is added another is subtracted. All of nature seems to be taking turns in resurrecting.

My name is Peggy. I was going to name this blog, "Late to the Party". My sons have been telling me to start a blog for many years. I think they wanted proof of my insanity. Now that my home school career is officially done, I thought I might jump into the waters. Books, tea, dark chocolate, laughter, and great conversation keep me moving on this crazy ride called life. Apparently, I really like to mix metaphors as evidenced by this description. View all posts by inkblotlife
